/j /join [channel] [pass]
Joins channels, e.g /join #funchat
You can join multiple channels if you seperate them with comma, like this /join #chan,#chan2,#chan3 .
/part [chan] [msg]
Parts a channel and shows a message to the users on the channel. E.g /part #funchat Goodbye now.
If no chan parameter is defined, it will use the current active channel. Message is optional.
/close
Closes current active window
/server /connect [-new] [host:port] [-pass password] [-ssl] [-user user]
Connects to a new server, e.g /server irc.nordicirc.com:6667, /server irc.nordicirc.com.
If -new option is defined, it will connect in a new server window.
/disconnect
Disconnects current connected server.
/quit [msg]
Disconnects current connected server and sends a quit message to users.
E.g /quit see you later people.
/me /action [msg]
Sends a message as an action on the channel, e.g /me jumps around will show as "* yournick bounces around".
/ame [msg]
Sends a message as an action on all joined channels, e.g /ame jumps around.
/nick [newnick]
Changes your nick to a new nick, e.g /nick LunaBabe
/anick [newnick]
Changes your nick to a new nick on all connected servers, e.g /anick LunaBabe
/version [user]
Sends an CTCP version requests to a user, you will get an reply with the IRC Client Version the user is using.
If no nick is defined, it will show what version of AdiIRC you are running.
/time [user]
Sends an CTCP time requests to a user, you will get an reply with the local time from the users.
/ping [user]
Sends an CTCP PING requests to a user, you will get an reply with messurement in seconds.
/topic [chan] [newtopic]
Changes topic in a chan to a newtopic, e.g /topic #funchat Todays topic is: What do you think of Eminem's new album.
If no chan parameter is defined, it will change current channel topic.
/kick [chan] [user] [reason]
Kicks an user from chan, and shows an kick reason, e.g /kick LunaBabe quit spamming please.
If no chan parameter is defined, it will kick the user in current chan.
/np [user]
Will show what your current media player is playing (if its supported by AdiIRC).
If user parameter is defined, it will throw an action on that user, based on your media player options in AdiIRC.
/raw [data]
Sends raw data to the irc server, e.g /raw PRIVMSG #funchat :Hi testing rawdata.
/ctcp [user] [msg]
Sends an CTCP request to user, e.g /ctcp LunaBabe VERSION.
/who [chan]
Shows information of users in chan, if no chan parameter is defined, it will show info from all joined channels on the network.
/names [chan]
Shows users in chan, if no chan parameter is defined, it will show users from all joined channels on the network.
/whois [user]
Shows information about user
/whowas [user]
Show informwation about who user was
/rawlog
Open the rawlog dialog
/config
Open the options dialog
/op [user]
Give user ChanOperator status on current chan
/deop [user]
Remove ChanOperator status from user on current chan
/voice [user]
Give user voice on current channel
/devoice [user]
Remove voice from user on current channels
/window [server] [chan] or [int]
Activates the window matching server chan or the window number counting from the top. e.g /window NordicIRC #funchat, /window 10.
/ban [user/host] [reason]
Bans a user or host from the channel and show a reason. E.g /ban LunaBabe Spams to much, /ban LunaBabe*!*@lunababe.com Spams to much.
/kickban [user] [reason]
Bans and then kicks a user from the current channel and show a reason. e.g /kickban LunaBabe We dont want your spam anymore.
/unban [host]
Remove a ban on host from the current channel
/banlist
Shows bans on the current channel
/clear
Clears all messages on current window
/aclear
Clears all messages on all windows
/msg [user/chan] [msg]
Sends an message to a user, e.g /msg LunaBabe hi there, are you hot?
/amsg [msg]
Sends [msg] to all joined channels
/query [user] [msg]
Sends an message to user, e.g /query LunaBabe hi there, are you hot?
If no [msg] is defined, it will open a empty private window with [user]
/i /invite [user] [chan]
Invites a user chan, e.g /invite LunaBabe #funchat.
/away [msg]
Flags you as away on current server.
/back
Removes away flag on current server.
/kill [user] [msg]
Kills an user from the network and shows a reason. e.g /kill LunaBabe Get of this network.
/say [user/chan] [msg]
Sends an message to a user or a channel, e.g /say LunaBabe hi there, are you hot? /say #funchat Hey everybody.
If no user or chan parameter is defined, it will show in current channel.
/notice [user/chan] [msg]
Sends an notice to a user or a channel, e.g /notice LunaBabe hi there, are you hot? /notice #funchat Hey everybody.
/list
Shows an list of channels on the current server
/slap [user]
Shows an slap action on a user. e.g /slap LunaBabe will show as "* yournick slaps LunaBabe with an c64 manual".
If you update/create slaps.txt in the same directory as the AdiIRC.exe file, it will show an random line from that file.
/sysinfo
Shows various information about your system in current channel.
/uptime
Shows your system's uptime in current channel.
/gfxinfo
Shows your graphic card information in current channel.
/osinfo
Shows your operating system information in current channel.
/meminfo
Shows your systems memory information in current channel.
/cpuinfo
Shows your systems processor information in current channel.
/diskinfo [disk]
Shows your harddisks information in current channel.
If you provide an drive letter parameter, it will show only info on that disk. e.g /diskinfo c:
/bw
Shows your current upstream and downstream on your system.
You need to select and network interface in AdiIRC options.
/audioinfo
Shows your audion information in current channel.
/rejoin
Rejoins all inactive channels on current server
/cycle [timer] [msg]
Will part all active channels on current server and show a message, wait for timer milliseconds and rejoin them.
e.g /cycle 2000 be right back in 2 seconds. If no timer parameter is defined, it will part/join at once
/reconnect
Will disonnect all active servers and reconnect them, as well as inactive servers.
/wplay
Tells media player to start playing a song.
/wstop
Tells media player to stop playing a song.
/wnext
Tells media player to go to next song.
/wprev
Tells media player to go to previous song.
/wpause
Tells media player to pause a song.
/wup
Tells media player to turn volume up.
/wdown
Tells media player to turn volume down.
/wseekf
Tells media player to seek forward in a song.
/wseekr
Tells media player to seek reverse in a song.
/wjump [position]
Tells media player to jumpto position in the playlist.
/wsearch [search term]
Searches through media player playlist for search term.
/wselect [search term]
Plays first hit from a search through media player playlist for search term.
/update
Checks if there is newer version of AdiIRC.
/betaup
Closes AdiIRC and downloads the latest beta build.
/ignore [user/mask]
Ignore all messages from user or hostmask. e.g /ignore LunaBabe, /ignore LunaBabe*!*@lunababe.com.
If no user/mask parameter is defined, it will show a list of current users on ignore.
/unignore [user/mask]
Removes ignore on a user or mask. e.g /unignore LunaBabe, /uningore LunaBabe*!*@lunababe.com.
/o [num]
Opens a saved link from the channel in your browser. e.g /o 1.
If no num parameter is defined, it will show a list of links in current window.
/run [url]
Opens url in your browser.
/dns /resolve [ip/host]
Tries to resolve an ip or host, and displays information in current window.
e.g /resolve adiirc.com.
/hop [msg]
Parts current channel and shows an message, then rejoins it. eg. /hop be right back.
Message is optional.
/advertise
Shows: LunaBabe is using AdiIRC v1.7. Download latest version at http://www.adiirc.com/
/color [text]
Shows the text with different colors in mIRC color order
/rcolor [text]
Shows the text with different colors in random mIRC color order
/restart
Closes and reopens program
/google [-n number of results] [search term]
Makes a websearch on Google and responds with first 5 results in private
/pgoogle [-n number of results] [search term]
