1.8.8 released
October 16th, 2011
This is a pretty big upgrade from the previous version, i highly recommend upgrading.
The entire core and several other parts have been rewritten completely.
Some of the new features are, experimental scripting support, log browser/viewer and a channel editor.

Beta Bug

A bug in a recent beta may cause AdiIRC to crash on startup, if you are affected and cannot updated to a new beta, you can manually go to download the development release, unpack and replace AdiIRC.e. More..
AdiIRC on Wine

I did some testing on Ubuntu 12.10 64 bit and wine-1.4.1, AdiIRC seems to work really well as of latest beta.
However I had to follow to make wine install .net on a 64 bit wine.

For those who are wondering, AdiIRC will work just as good on Windows 8 as any other windows versions, no updates or reinstalling needed :)
